WEDDINGS

VENUE HIRE

Venue Cost:

–  Hall – R 9400.00 (with catering)
–  Hall – R14 500.00 (without catering)
–  Stokkiesdraai Outdoor venue & Beach wedding – R5500.00  
    includes max 80 chairs (with catering)
–  Stokkiesdraai Outdoor venue & Beach wedding – R12000.00
    includes max 80 chairs (without catering)
–  Public holidays & Sundays – R 4000.00 surcharge applicable.

Includes:
–  Rectangular tables (20)
–  Chairs (150)
–  White/Black table cloths (20)
–  Standard cutlery, crockery & glassware

PLEASE NOTE: Should you prefer an alternative colour, fabric or different items to the ones mentioned above, the expense will be for your own account.

Ceremony :
A gazebo/ Arch supplied by us including 80 chairs or wooden benches that seat 80 people, extras must be hired and erected by yourself or the décor company of your choice for your own account.

RECEPTION
  • The venue is booked from the start of your ceremony until midnight.
  • We require music to be played on a moderate level after 10H00
  • Music needs to be turned off at 24h00.
  • In order to maintain our food quality to a high standard, the main course buffet is available for 1 ½ hours.
  • No takeaways are permitted from the buffet.
  • Additional waitrons are available at R 250.00 per waitron.
  • Children 4 years old and under are free.
SETUP
  • Preparation of the venue is to be conducted on the day before the wedding, provided that there is no other function booked for that day.
  • If this is the case, the wedding preparations can only take place on the day of the wedding.
  • If you require extra time for setup it can be arranged at an additional fee
ADDITIONAL
Additional Costs :

  • Guest accommodation

  • DJ
  • Décor
  • Hairdressers, beauticians
  • Pastor
  • Special wedding vehicles, donkey cart
  • All meals for the weekend, breakfast, brunch etc.

Décor Removal :

  • All décor not provided by T.O. Strand must be removed by 18h00 the following day.
  • Management will consider alternative décor removal arrangements upon written request, provided there is no function booked for that particular day.
  • No storeroom facilities are available for storage of décor and equipment.

Menus :

  • We have a selection of menu options available and you can design your own individual menu for your special day.
  • Final menu and figures to be confirmed 14 days in advance.
  • See below our 3x  standard menu options (Bronze, Silver & Gold).
  • Alternative menu options can be negotiated on request

Bar :

  • Cash bar available , last round at 23:30 closing at 24h00.
  • A bar tab may be arranged with management upon agreed terms.
  • Own wine and champagne permitted at a corkage fee of R30.00 per bottle
  • Please note that according to the terms of our liquor license no alcoholic beverages will be allowed on our premises other than that available from our bar
ACCOMMODATION
  • Bookings can be made by contacting 039 319 2729 during office hours or alternatively by e-mailing:  groups@tostrand.net
  • A complimentary honeymoon suite will be reserved for the bride and groom on the day of the wedding.
  • 2x separate units will be provided prior to the wedding for the bride and groom pre-wedding preparations
TERMS & CONDITIONS

Deposit :

  • In order to secure your booking, a non-refundable full venue hire fee is required within 10 days of booking the venue.
  • The attached Agreement form is to be completed, signed and returned to T.O. Strand within 10 days of booking the venue.
  • A refundable breakage deposit of R 3000.00 is required and will be refunded within 7 days after the final account has been reconciled.

Payment Terms :

  • 50% of pro- forma invoice amount is due 60 days prior to the function.
  • Full payment must be made 14 days prior to the function.
  • Payment will only be received by direct bank transfer.
  • Quote your booking number as reference with payment
  • Send proof of payment groups@tostrand.net
  • A final invoice for payment will be provided on request
  • All prices include VAT.
  • All prices quoted are correct at the time of printing, but are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Malicious damage, breakage and theft will be charged for at the full replacement cost.
  • TO Strand reserves the right to change prices without prior notice should there be any unforeseen increases.
